Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khans' Worst Rapid Fire in Koffee With Karan Season 7 Episode 5 Recap

Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khans' Worst Rapid Fire in Koffee With Karan Season 7 Episode 5 Recap ...

Karan Johar, the host and roast of the season, is accused of making the star kids big due to all the attention given to Taimur Ali Khan, the youngest star in the city. After a long introduction, Karan invites today's guests Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Aamir, you didn't get the letter? Karan asks Aamir why he decided to remake Forrest Gump, which is considered one of the most famous films and Tom Hanks' best performances. Atul Kulkarni shares the idea for the film 14 years ago, during Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

Aamir was dissatisfied when he heard the script after two years. It took Aamir eight to nine years to obtain the rights to remake the film. Kjo asks Aamir whether he's stressed about the box office. Aamir says he'll be heartbroken if the film fails.

Kareena was not the first choice to play Rupa, as the team was looking for someone in the 25-year old age group to play the character. When the casting director showed them a video of a new actor, they thought, why not take Kareena to play Rupa? Bebo pokes fun at Karan, who must pass a screen test for the film.

Kareena claims she has never taken a screen exam in any role in the past. Bebo claims she was encouraged by Saif Ali Khan and that she appreciated the opportunity. However, Aamir and the family chose her to play Rupa without watching the audition because they liked how she rehearsed the line.

Karan Johar explains how the South movies (RRR, KGF, Pushpa) have worked, while the Bollywood industry does not work. KJo explains to Aamir that he is responsible for the shift in tone in the industry since 2001, as a result of films like Dil Chahta Hai, Lagaan, Rang De Basanti, and Taare Zameen Par.

Aamir Khan explains that all of Karan's films had emotions that touched people's hearts. Aamir says you may make an action or crude film, but choose a relevant topic that people are interested in seeing. Karan then comes to Kareena and says she never watches her movies.

Aamir tells Karan that she is mistaken as she is very concerned about her film, Laal Singh Chaddha. He claims she keeps asking him about the latest news, promotions, and more. Bebo, who is struggling to talk, gets lost in the background because these two men think they know her!

KJo also talks about how Kareena has changed and does not call and ask him about the gossip as she used to do. Aamir says that parties have loud music that hurts the ears. Bebo says that parties are supposed to be when you come, get drunk and dance to movie songs.

The party discussion continues, proving Aamir's point that parties might actually be boring. The discussion then turns to Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, where Aamir enjoys Kareenas character Poo. Aamir is also a novice at Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.

Aamir and Kareena's wonderfully managed respective complicated family dynamics. They all deserve their time and attention, and Bebo replies that it's not that difficult because Saif is a father to four children.

Aamir and Kareena will be playing a new game called Actor trolling Actor. Each of them has to pick a card and ask a question about themselves to the other person, and the other person must answer it brutally honest. Aamir asks What is the one thing about him that annoys her the most.

Kareena replies to everything that annoys her, including Aamir's desire for perfection. She believes it's not wrong, but she finds Aamir to be helpful. The whole segment fails to add any excitement to the episode. They mock Aamir's 100+ days working style, Akshay's 35 days on screen manner, and the Dangal actors' uninteresting fashion sense.

Kareena skips answering most of the questions, and Aamir shows his nice side by not giving any favorite names. We learn that Kareena has no regrets in life, and Aamir googles himself.

Karans displeasure is evident on his face. He says, Im flummoxed. Whos worse? I dont know. In the history of rapid fires, this is the worst. Aamir receives the highest votes, and he wins the hamper. The next round is the buzzer round, which only gets worse as time progresses.

Aamir and Kareena have to confront celebs and make them say, Hey Karan, its me. Aamir faces Ranveer Singh and Kiran Rao. Kareena calls Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor. In the end, Kareena wins the round. KJo tells her that she had to win the fast-fire round.

Karan asks Kareena and Aamir what luxury life means to them. For Aamir, luxury means having the time to spend with his family. The duo sign the coffee mug, and KJo wishes them the best for their film, Laal Singh Chaddha.

Final Thoughts on Koffee With Karan Season 5 Episode 7

The new episode of Koffee With Karan was mediocre. Maybe its the pairing or the questions? Maybe it's the fact that Kareena didn't get to talk much? We don't know. The discussions about Aamirs fashion sense and party disinterested too much.

Aamir's most hilarious moment was when he didn't know what the thirst trap was! I wish Kareena was still alive because she deserves to be treated with respect.
