Xiaomi's first smart AR glasses are now available in China under the Mijia brand. It's a bulky design that houses the dual camera module and one micro-OLED display, which allows for live translation and video recording for a reasonable price.

The MijiaSmart Glasses Camera is quite different from what was previously touted by the company last year. It's a 100gram glass with a dual camera on the other side, with a 50MP main sensor and a secondary 8MP periscope camera that allows for video and photo recording.

Sony has developed a single AR optical display with a 3281 ppi density. Aside from taking pictures, the smart glasses also offers live translation between English and Chinese languages, like onGoogle's glasses. Screencasting will be added in a software update.

The Mijia Glasses Camera has a 1020 mAh battery that can provide up to 100 minutes of continuous video recording on a single charge. On the other hand, charging the device gets you 80 percent in 30 minutes through its 10W charger.

Xiaomi is offering the Mijia Glasses Camera for a lower price of CNY 2,499 ($370) through its own crowdfunding campaign. Once the product is fully released, it will cost CNY 2,699 ($400) but the company did not disclose whether or not the AR glasses would be released outside China.
