After the show was canceled on August 2, Imani Lewis, 23, and Sarah Catherine Hook, 27, spoke out on Instagram to express their displeasure to those who supported them on the one-season series.

The first episode of First Kill began on June 10, based on Victoria Schwab's short story of the same name. Juliette (Sarah) is a teenage vampire who is ready for her first kill so she may inherit a powerful vampire family. She is looking for a new girl in town Cal (Imani), a well-known slayer from a cult of legends.Emma Roberts was one of the executive producers.
