Everybody Still Hates Chris will air on both Paramount+ and Comedy Central in the future. The program was announced back in March of 2021, with Chris Rock to narrate and executive produce, and Sanjay Shah to write and executive produce the series.
Chris McCarthy, the President/CEO of Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios, spoke about the new programming they're working on recently, saying:
Chris Rock is one of the most gifted comedians of all time and we were honored to work with him, 3 Arts, and CBS Studios to bring this to life and welcome it to the next big hit in our expanding arsenal of iconic adult animation that includes smash series such as South Park and the newbie.

CBS's president and CEO, George Cheeks, also spoke on the reboot series, saying:
For a long time, reimagining this groundbreaking, critically acclaimed series has been a source of creative discussion at our Studio, and it's exciting to join forces with 3 Arts and Chris Rock's comedic genius as he expands on his original show in this unique new format.
There's a decent assortment of adult animated series on Paramount+, includingSouth Park,Beavis And Butthead, Digman!, andJodi. While only time will know how popular the newer series will become in the future, the original series ofEverybody Hates Chris was greeted with great fanfare. It's been nominated for a Golden Globe and an Emmy as well.
