Picard's Plot and Cast in Star Trek
For the time being, more specific plot points are elusive, although Stewart stated that season three might be the most interesting of all:
One of the things that I said when I read for the first time the end of season two was, Where do we go from here? Because it almost appeared that there would be a conclusion. We did not. And season three, in many ways, proved to me to be one of the most interesting.
Sir Patrick's remarks seem to have put a complete stop to the world after the last batch of episodes, according to Variety. I think that Picard has said his final words and given his final look at his colleagues. I think the way we close season three is perfect. Perfect. It makes me tear every time I think of it, but it's great.
Following the events of season 2, we expect the following cast members to return for Picard season three, including Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard, Michelle Hurd as Rafaella Raffi Musiker, Evan Evagora as Elnor, and Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine.
Thankfully, some extremely talented cast members have been arranged to take their places. These include LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner.
Release Dates for Star Trek: Picard Season 3
Season 3 was filmed immediately after Season 2, as previously mentioned, and this wasn't exactly easy for everyone involved, except of course Patrick Stewart.
The series is expected to launch on our screens in early 2023, incorporating time for post-production and previous release dates. As of June 2022, there has still been no official announcement.
