WWE held their latest series of tryouts during the SummerSlam weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. The tryouts were part of the company's Next In Line program, which seeks to develop young wrestlers who are on the way to becoming international wrestling stars.
Dwight Howard, a former Los Angeles Lakers player, participated in the tryouts. The NBA star even did a WWE-style promo to make an impression. Dwight has ambitions of going to WWE, and he now has Bobby Lashley's attention.
Lashley spoke on The Masked Man Show about Dwight's hopes to become a WWE star. While The Almighty is open to introducing Dwight, he has stated that he will not take things lightly on him.
Ill spear him and chop him in half, since hes a 10 foot tall guy. I have experience with giants. I threw Omos around, and hes half the size of Omos. I think he doesnt want to go against the All Mighty. Babysteps, buddy.
Lashley won the United States Championship against Theory at SummerSlam this past Saturday. His championship will be on the line next week against Ciampa on Raw. Only time will tell if Dwight Howard will ever join WWE to try his hand at sports entertainment.
