For The Seventh Time, Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese Are Reuniting ...

Leonardo DiCapiro is one of Hollywood's most well-known actors, and he always smiles at ease on television or the silver screen. They are also frequent collaborators in cinema. DiCaprio and Scorsese are now reuniting for their seventh film.

The plot of Wager is set in the 1740s. It revolves around the surviving crew of a British ship that crashed on the Brazilian coast after following a Spanish ship. A second ship carrying three sailors accuses the men on the other boat of being mutinous as it approaches Chile's coast, where the captain and his crew have been battling to survive for the last six months.

The Wager's screenplay is unknown. Richard Plepler of Eden Productions is expected to direct the film adaptation, which will be directed by Dan Friedkin and Bradley Thomas for Imperative Entertainment. Scorsese will also be worked on by DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson through their Appian Way Productions.

Scorsese and DiCaprio have collaborated on a number of films since their 2002 collaboration on Gangs of New York. That initial film was followed by The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Killers of the Flower Moon, which is also based on a non-fiction book by Grann. The upcoming film is not expected to be released until April of next year.
