Davina McCall, who hosted Big Brother for a decade, said she'd like to hear another one. During an ad break of the Love Island finale, ITV2 confirmed that the rumors about a possible Big Brothers comeback will air in 2023. Paul Mortimer, ITV2's Director of Reality Commissioning & Acquisitions and Controller, said: This refreshed, contemporary new series of Big Brother will retain all of the familiar format elements that kept viewers engaged and entertained the first time round, but with a fresh look and some additional twists that speak to today's audience. We are beyond excited to bring this iconic series to ITV2 and ITVX, where it should particularly appeal to younger viewers.

Natalka Znak, a producer who worked on Love Island, and Claire ODonohoe, who has worked on The Masked Singer, are two of the producers on the program.

Rylan Clark, a former Celebrity Big Brother Season 11 winner and much-loved co-presenter of the Channel 5 series, may be in line for the host role, according to a source. He loved the program and texted a few people to express his excitement about Big Brothers returning.

Clark stoked outrage in July when he tweeted an emoji with a zipped mouth, hinting at a secret he's keeping under wraps. "You're a horrible tease," said actor Marcus Bentley, well-known for the iconic voiceover of Big Brother.

The bookies have other ideas, as well. At Ladbrokes, the show's OG host Davina McCall is the runaway favorite to retake the show's helm. From Alison Hammonds iconic table break to Chantelle Houghton going undercover, pretending to be famous, and eventually winning Celebrity Big Brother 4, McCall is the longest-running presenter.
