Neil Patrick Harris describes filming Netflix's Uncoupled as strange and cathartic ...

Filming Netflix's Uncoupled was no walk in the (Central) Park for Neil Patrick Harris.

Michael Lawson, his character, is then forced to deal with the arduous world of internet dating.

The Jess Cagle Show star who appeared on SiriusXMs The Jess Cagle Show admitted that filming the program was strange and cathartic.

In strange ways, it felt very close to the vest because I had to do scenes where I was referring to my long-term boyfriend/boyfriend leaving me and thats not part of my story, but it might happen, according to hosts Jess Cagle and Julia Cunningham.

Michael was devastated, saying, "Everything was fine," adding, "In relationships, it's always possible to have the rug pulled out from under you."

The Doogie Howser alum said he would have to imagine life as it would be if his husband, David Burtka, left him.

Im grateful for everything that I did, because the emotional stuff and the vulnerability of it all came out of it in a remarkable ease, because it was an easy hypothetical.

I got to witness an event that was never mys, but which is still a possibility in some way. It was a joy, but it was odd.

Burtka explained to Page Six that watching Uncoupled was a bit difficult.

I cant imagine going into that dating pool anymore, its ruthless. I would not want to put myself out there, he said.

I would not want to be very content or very happy in my marriage to my younger friends, as I am certain.
