Drake cancels his Young Money Reunion program and tests positive for COVID ...

After testing positive for COVID-19, Drake had to put his hotly-anticipated Young Money Reunion program on the back burner.

On Monday night, the Gods Plan hitmaker was set to take the stage with Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne during his October World Weekend celebrations in Toronto, Canada.

Drake revealed the bad news on his Instagram Story, saying he was profoundly sorry that he tested positive for the virus.

The 35-year-old rapper promised to have the program rescheduled at the finest possible date.

If we have a locked date, I'll keep the city updated and notify everyone when it's time to go, he added, "Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy."

I want to say thank you to you all for letting me down on our weekend together. The moment I test negative, I will give you everything I got on stage, except the Covid, according to his coworker.

On Thursday, Drake's nightclub history kicked off with an All Canadian North Stars night.

The rapper surprised the crowd with a performance from fellow Canadian singerNelly Furtado. This was her first performance in five years.

As part of the duo One of Them Ones Tour, Chris Brown and Lil Baby performed on Friday night at Budweiser Stage.

Drake, Minaj, and Lil Wayne were then scheduled to perform on Monday night.

Along with Gudda Gudda, Tyga, Jae Millz, and Lloyd, the trio first worked together on the smash 2009 song BedRock.

Since then, theyve released a few songs together, including the 2014 Only with Brown album and the Truffle Butter release.
