The Flash is coming to an end on The CW, after nine seasons on the network, according to Entertainment Weekly reports. The final season of The Flash will also be more paced by viewers than previous seasons, although it will only consist of 13 episodes.

According to EW, The Flash Season 9 will begin filming next month and is expected to premiere on The CW sometime in 2023.

According to Deadline, the conclusion of The Flash was planned, and Grant Gustin will sign a one-year deal to return to the show. The actor, who plays Barry Allen/The Flash, signed a 15-episode deal in January.

According to Deadline, the CW will void The Flashs' next season from its fall schedule and plan to premiere the program at the midseason instead.

Another popular CW series is also coming to an end with The Flashending.Riverdale, which premiered on The CW in 2017, will come to an end in 2023 with its seventh season, while adding new series Gotham Knights, Walker: Independence and The Winchesters.
