Sylvester Stallone has pushed Rocky Producer Irwin Winkler for exploiting his characters in the Drag ...

When it comes to protecting his Rockyfranchise, Sylvester Stallone goes as far as chastising parasite producers for exploiting his characters in the recently-announced spinoff film Drago.

The most recent criticism of the spinoff came on Saturday (July 30) when he took to Instagram to express his outrage against a 94-year-old producer, apparently referring to Irwin Winkler, a 91-year-old Rockyproducer.

Another Heartbreaker Just stumbled upon this ONCE AGAIN, and his PATHETIC 94 YEAR-OLD PRODUCER AND HIS MORONIC USELESS VULTURE CHILDREN, Charles And David, are once again picking clean THE BONES of another wonderful character I created without even telling me, Stallone wrote. I APOLOGIZE to the FANS, I never wanted ROCKY characters to be exploited by these parasites.

Dolph Lundgren, who played Ivan Drago inRocky IV, which was directed by Stallone, and Creed II, was also chastised for failing to inform him of the spinoff.

By the way, I once had nothing but respect for Dolph, but I wish HE had informed me what was happening behind my back, according to Stallone. Keep your REAL friends close.

Sunday night (July 31) Lundgren went onto the platform to clear the air after the post.

He began. There is no approved script, no agreements, no director, and I was personally unaware that my friend Sly Stallone was involved as a producer or even as an actor. There is no press leak last week which was unfortunate. Please don't hesitate to contact Mr Balboa.

Stallone has been vocal about the Rocky franchise for the first time in a 2019 interview with Variety. Despite writing and starring in the original 1976 film that won three Oscars, he also went on to star in five other Rocky films as well as two Creedspinoffs.

Every word, every syllable, every grammatical error was my fault, according to the speaker. It was shocking that it never happened, but I was told, Hey, you got paid, so what are you raving about?

When he shared a photo of Winkler drawn as a serpent on Instagram with the caption, One of the country's greatest artists, Irwin Winkler, Irwin Winkler, is a very flattering portrait of the great Rocky/Creed producer, Irwin Winkler, from one of the country's greatest artists. I'd like to have at least a little [of] WHATS LEFT of my rights back, before passing it on to ONLY YOUR children I believe

Sly's long journey seems to be coming to an end. Despite his not appearing in it, he is listed as a producer for Creed III, which is scheduled to be released in March 2023 and will mark actor Michael B. Jordan's directorial debut.
