The Star Wars Series Trailer for Andor: Diego Luna is everything we expected from Rogue One ...

Im a quick learner when it comes to Star Wars. I'm pumped for every episode and I've kept my doubts in case I need to deploy them once the series run starts (although occasionally I do run out). What I'm saying is, thank you very much. This is going to be the greatest Star Wars show to date.

The new trailer which announces that the show's release date has been pushed back to September 21 and rescheduled to a three-episode premiere is all that supports all of those fears. These are the first Phantom Menace action figures to hit Walmart shelves (which, yes, I did).

Don't believe the hype? Just watch this teaser! The usual Star Wars stuff to get excited about, such as the return of the always lovely Diego Luna, the way Andor settles into the mostly unexplored early days of the Rebellion, and the new stuff, too, the stuff that will be unique to Andor.

With Andor infiltrating Imperial outposts with ease, and Mon Mothma (Genevieve OReilly) fighting against the Empire from within the senate, there's Stellan Skarsgard, who pulls off both the looks of a grizzled veteran of war and the faintly creepy Downton Abbey.

Okay, this last sentence is for me, as well as my general fondness for older men in formal attire. Moving on.

The thing that sticks out to me the most is how Andor tries to achieve what it aimed to achieve in 2016: a story of Rebel spies stealing the Death Star and some damn iconic shots that showed a more darker and brutal side of Star Wars: a ground view of Jyn Erso walking across an open-air catwalk only to be confronted by a damn TIE fighter.

I know Andors will have a problem because it has 12 episodes to tell the story of Cassian Andor's first year as a spy for this resistance movement. There's gonna be plenty of time for the program to make the most of its inherent Bourne-like thriller style. Right now it appears like Andor will deliver on the promises made in the Rogue One trailers.

Star Wars: Andor will be available on Disney+ on September 21st, with three new episodes.
