Sylvester Stallone is the ultimate underdog Rocky Balboa in the Rocky boxing franchise. The film is working on Drago, a spinoff of Creed, which is in turn a spinoff of Rocky. Sylvester Stallone has recently slammed the filmmakers for ruining the iconic character.

The Wrap first reported that a Rocky spinoff based on the Drago character is in the works at MGM and that Sylvester Stallone isn't a part of it. He tweeted that the 94-year-old producer and his children are ruining the franchise for their selfish desires.

MGM is putting a substantial bet on the house of Drago. Robert Lawton has been selected as the screenplays author after impressing MGM officials with his spec script Becoming Rocky, which tells the story of how the original Rocky film was made.

It's unknown whether Lundgren or Florian Munteanu, who played Viktor Drago, will return for the spinoff plot. Check out Stallones latest Instagram post below.
