The Wrap reported that a Rocky spinoff based on the Drago character is in the works at MGM and that Sylvester Stallone is not a part of it. He expressed his outrage on Instagram. He said the 94-year-old producer and his children are ruining the franchise for their selfish desires.

MGM is placing a substantial wager on the House of Drago. Robert Lawton has been chosen as the screenplays author after impressing MGM officials with his spec script Becoming Rocky, which tells the story of the original Rocky film.

Lundgren or Florian Munteanu, who played Viktor Drago, would not be returning for the spinoff of the spinoff plot, according to Stallones' latest Instagram post.
