Charlie Cox's 'Amazing' Daredevil Return is teased by She-Hulk Star

Charlie Cox's 'Amazing' Daredevil Return is teased by She-Hulk Star ...

Charlie Cox made a surprise comeback in last year's Spider-Man: No Way Home in a brief but significant role to assist Tom Holland's Peter Parker in his messy legal battle. Since then, fans have been speculating on which Marvel project The Devil of Hell's Kitchen will take on the next.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law will be seen at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, where it was eventually confirmed that Daredevil will play him. Still, it is unclear how Matt Murdock will fit into this series' nine-episode run as She-Hulk makes her long-awaited MCU debut as a leading heroine.

Now, the lead star of the show has teased what's in store for Cox's Disney+ debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Charlie Cox's Return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Hyped Up by the She-Hulk Star

Tatiana Maslany, who plays Charlie Cox in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, talked about the MCU series' confirmed inclusion of Matt Murdock during a mega-sized panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

On a rooftop, Dardedevil appeared alongside Jennifer Walters at the end of the teaser, the character wearing an upgraded costume.

Maslany told Deadline that fans would be "really happy" with Cox's Daredevil comeback, and that he's a "really fantastic actor."

"Charlie Cox is set to play Daredevil, so what can you say?" Maslany: "I don't want to say anything... I just want to say that the fans will be really pleased."

Maslany was asked first if she had to convince her to accept Marvel in an interview with MTV News (via She-Hulk Daily). The MCU newcomer revealed that the pilot's script convinced her to join the show, saying, "The writing was so weird and funny."

MTV News: Did you need convincing or what to dive into this?

Maslany: I mean, for me, I avoided doing big things because I was afraid of the scope of [that] world, but when I saw the pilot for the audition, I was like, This is so funny, [its] so different from anything I've ever seen. And like, if this weren't Marvel, I would want to do it.

Jennifer Walters and Matt Murdock have openly stated that the two are "best friends" when asked if they get along in the show.

"Matt Murdock and you, do you guys get along?" MTV asks "Do you guys get along?"

Maslany: "Were my best friends. He was fantastic."

Daredevil's Role in She-Hulk's Story (Theory)

Tatiana Maslany's assertion that Jennifer Walters and Matt Murdock are best friends in the Marvel Cinematic Universe might be a misdirection at first, especially considering the pair's previous roles in the Marvel Comics. Both Walters and Murdock were actually adversaries in court, with Steve Rogers at the center of it.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a similar narrative arc may occur, with both lawyers-turned-heroes clashing first before eventually confronting a formidable adversary. This allows the friendship between Walters and Murdock to develop, forming a long-term partnership.

The fact that She-Hulk is a "half-hour legal comedy," there's a possibility that Murdock's humorous side will also be showcased in the series. He is also likely that fans will finally see him in the MCU's Daredevil because he is suited up and ready to fight crime in the teaser.

Murdock's participation in the series would give a breath of fresh air to the character before diving into his darker roots in the already-confirmed Daredevil: Born Again series, which is still almost two years from its release.

Attorney at Lawis is scheduled to launch on Disney+ on Wednesday, August 17.
