Kohls is working hard to reinvent itself and its fashion, particularly with back-to-school trends coming soon. Over the years, the company has dropped different brands in order to maintain its on-trend fashion.

Although these changes are still considered as noteworthy, Kohl's decided to change its focus and inventory. Jennifer Lopez, Mudd, Juicy Couture, all brands that were dropped were focused on young female customers.

Kohls made headlines when it resisted a buyout offer with Franchise Group Inc. (FRG) a few weeks ago. The decision to withdraw from the agreement was a precursor to the unveiling of a new section of the department store that would include new brands and a program to give back.

Kohls is bringing in more contemporary fashion.

Kohls is working to bring retro apparel to its customers for a limited time only, according to fashion trends. The line will be available until January 2023, allowing customers to return to school and holiday shopping.

Levis Silver Tab is considered to have an edgier edge to its fashion line. The partnership has been launched just ahead of the big push for back-to-school fashion shopping, allowing customers to see refreshed versions of the trends from decades ago.

With this limited-time offer of the Levi's Silver Tab label, tweens, and teens can show up to the back-to-school drop-off line in a classic appearance, feeling sassy and looking good.
