Noni Madueke, a PSV Eindhoven sensation, is believed to be interested in Leicester City, with both Leeds United and Tottenham also in the running to sign the England youth international.
According to the Telegraph, the former Tottenham academy player is on Brendan Rodgers' radar as Leicester prepares to make their first signing of the summer, with the Foxes waiting to release some players before bringing in some new faces three weeks before the start of the Premier League season.
Madueke is one of the many England successes that have come to fruition in recent years as a talented player taking their talents to the continent and making a name for themselves, with the 20-year-old winger one of the Netherlands' best players since joining the first team in 2020, according to the Dutch club at 40m.
Madueke, a confident player who equated his style of play to that of footballing legend Lionel Messi, had a difficult 2021/22 season, with the London-born winger spending the majority of the season out with injury, with the attackers' form also taking a hit as the PSV star bagged just nine goals and six assists in all competitions.
Madueke would be an ideal Leicester signing and would fit the clubs' transfer policy, with the Foxes being one of the most successful Premier League sides in the world for bringing in players at inexpensive prices who match Rodgers' style of play.
Leicester have had a difficult time getting back on track this summer, with the club waiting to sell a key player before making a move for the likes of Madueke, who might be a fantastic signing for the King Power Stadium team.
Leicester must get back to work in order to defeat Leeds and Tottenham at Madueke.
Both Leeds and Tottenham are believed to be interested in signing Madueke, as well as Newcastle United, yet the Foxes might have the strongest case for signing the youngster, although Rodgers and his company have a long way to go.
Leicester needs to make some changes before the 2016 Premier League champions begin their season. With the right-wing position in need of strengthening, Madueke might be a fantastic and exciting addition for the Foxes.
