The director warns Tottenham's 21m target hell that he must leave the country to England ...

If Barcelona does not submit a bid soon, Monchi, the Sevilla sporting director, has assured Jules Kounde that he will force a move to England, despite suggestions from Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.

According to Foot Mercato, Sevilla are still waiting for Barcelona to make an official proposal for the defender. However, the Camp Nou natives have asked Kounde to hold out in hopes of a move to Catalunya, and to reject any competing proposal that might be submitted to his desk.

Now that Robert Lewandowski has sealed his 50 million (42.5 million) move from Bayer Munich, Barcelona intends to pursue Kounde. Yet their Andalusian opponents are becoming more awaited as they wait to sell him.

Sevilla accept that Koundes' time at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan will come to an end this summer, and they hope to finalize his departure this week. Barcelona has long been the preferred destination for former Bordeaux stars.

Chelsea has a contract for Kounde against Tottenham, while Barcelona is interested.

If the Blaugrana do not make the steps in their pursuit that are required, Chelsea would be his second choice. According to the Sun, the Blues have now agreed to a fee with Sevilla.

Kounde has also agreed to personal terms with the West London club and is expected to join the club on their pre-season tour of the United States. The move will likely gain momentum if Barcelona does not immediately respond to Monchis' warning and formalize their interest in Koundes' departure.

Chelsea's agreement with Sevilla for Koundes' departure will also have to stoke a fire under Tottenham's managing director Fabio Paratici for the defender to move to north London in the summer market. The Mirrornoted earlier this month that Spurs were leading the race.

Thomas Tuchel has put Chelsea in first place with a contract with Sevilla, while Barcelona remains a threat to Tottenham's Kounde interest as Lewandowski has moved.
