Arsenal might go for Spurs if the 24-year-old leaves, according to a journalist ...

Fabrizio Romano has been talking about Pau Torres and a potential departure from Villarreal on the Here We Go podcast.

Romano has stated that Arsenal may buy the centre-back. He has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, most likely with Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal are thought to be considering bringing Torres as a potential replacement for Gabriel Magalhaes as rumors continue to circulate.

Romano talked about Torres and a possible move to Arsenal.

Keep an eye on the centre-back domino with Pau Torres. He has always been on the list of Chelsea, not as a priority, but he has been on the list. Lets see what happens with Juventus, they are now negotiating with Bremer, and lets see what happens with Arsenal and Pau Torres in the event that Gabriel is replaced by a top club.

Arsenal will have one of the finest ball-playing defensive pairings in the Premier League if they sign Pau Torres.

Torres and Ben White are both absolutely fantastic on the ball, and while they may lack that physical presence, the Mikel Artetas side are more interested in footballing ability than strength and physicality.

If Gabriel leaves Arsenal, he would be missed. After all, he was the Gunners' best defender last season, but Torres might be a brilliant replacement.

This would be even sweeter if Tottenham Hotspur had Torres for years, and if Arsenal acquires him, they'll have won the game against Tottenham.
