Nintendo has released the teaser for Kirby's Dream Buffet, a four-player party game with everyone's favorite pink ball of joy. The new game depicts Kirby along with three different colored compatriots devouring a veritable mountain of cake in 2022.
Dream Buffet is inspired by Kirby Superstar's Gourmet Race minigame. According to its eShop description, the game is played for four rounds.
As he advances, Kirby must defeat Waddle-Dee NPCs. The more strawberries Kirby consumes as he goes, the quicker he rolls.
Given that 2022 marks Kirby's 30th anniversary, it makes sense that it'll have more than one game. Where Forgotten Land was an epic adventure, this is more a bite-sized treat (the trailer has made me extremely hungry). Dream Buffet will be released in summer 2022, which is basically now.
