Kid Cudi has announced that his debut album A Kid Named Cudi will be available on streaming services this summer. The critically acclaimed project was first released in 2008, helping the Cleveland rapper to reach international fame. On the July 4th holiday, the rapper took to Twitter to update his fans and followers on the release of the fan-favorite project.

A Kid Named Cudi was released on July 17th, 2008, two days shy of the 14th anniversary. Having said that, I'm so excited for you all to get to enjoy it again, again, with all the new music that triggered your interest. Also, he provided a new intro.

One fan asked if the mixtape would be released on vinyl.

Cudi promised the album's artwork as well as a tracklist for this project later this week in a tweet. The Boy Who Flew To The Moon Vol. 1, a best of project, will be released on July 8th.

Kid Cudi's year is going to be a busy one. Beyond the release of his previous records, the rapper is developing a new series. Entergalactic, created by Cudi in partnership with Kenya Barris, will launch on Netflix on September 30th, along with a new album of the same name.
