Travis Scott exercised caution during a concert in New York City on Monday, July 4. He took the time to remind rowdy fans that they must calm down and climb off metal pillars at the venue, just eight months after he was criticized for his Astroworld Music event, where ten fans died.

In a video shared byTMZ, Travis could be seen interfering with the program to address followers. He told them to get off the metal scaffolding for safety reasons. My brother, please check yours well.

Travis could be heard telling supporters to relax and that they must stand up from the barricade in another segment. He asked his followers to take a few steps back from the stage, and also urged security to be cautious as well. Security, do not push them. Do not push the barricade.

The New York performance came months after the tragic Astroworld festival, where ten individuals were murdered. The performance prompted a number of lawsuits and widespread criticism of Travis and his handling of the disgruntled audience. Back in April, Travis had his first unannounced performance at a Coachella afterparty. He also performed his songs at the Billboard Music Awards, where he presented Too Much Power and MAFIA.

Travis has launched the Project HEAL initiative, which focuses on event safety. He will also perform two shows at the Primavera Sound music festival in August.

Astroworld: A 14-year-old family has filed a lawsuit against Travis Scott over $2 billion worth of other litigation.
