Rachel Brosnahan is suffering from a shooting in her native Highland Park, Illinois, on Monday.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star, 31, tweeted about a gunman who opened fire from a rooftop in Highland Park.

At least six people were killed, including dozens more.

Every time a story like this comes out, im sick to my stomach, but I dont want the pit in your stomach as you call your family and friends to ensure everyone is okay. No words.

The Emmy winner closed by revealing a link to Everytown for Gun Safety.

She wrote, "Enough is enough is enough is enough is enough is enough is enough is enough" and "Enough is enough" is enough.

Brosnahan also retweeted a message reading, and Ive seen a few tweets about Highland Park being the last place youd expect to hear about a shooting. Plea to leave that thought out of coverage.

According to the tweet, no civilian space, no matter how underinvested or affluent, should ever be subjected to gun violence.

Richard Marx, a singer who grew up in the same Chicago suburb as Brosnahan, tweeted Monday that he was heartbroken by the tragedy.

Marx, 58, wrote via Twitter that he is actively seeking out to monitor the well being of those I still know there.

No matter where they happen, my heart is always broken by these repeated mass shootings, but today Im even more heartbroken, said the man, and even more raged at the senselessness.
