Clement Lenglet is expected to become the Tottenham Hotspurs' sixth signing of the summer transfer window.

The Barcelona centre-back is closing in on a season-long loan to Antonio Contes Spurs.

Conte had made it clear that he wanted a left-footed centre-half to reinforce his backline, and the France international looks to be the man to grant the Italian his wish.

Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma, and Richarlison will join the 27-year-old in north London.

Lenglet made 160 appearances for Barca after signing for Sevilla for 32 million a year ago, but he found game time difficult to come by under Nou Camp legend Xavi.

If Lenglet remained in Catalonia, he would only have seven La Liga games last season. Following the arrival of Andreas Christensen, the 15-time France international would only be able to drop further down the pecking order.

A La Liga winner, Lenglet might complement Cristian Romero and Eric Dier in the Contes' three-man backline.

HITC Sport takes a look at seven players who have played for Tottenham and Barcelona as Lenglets' move to the capital is nearing completion.
