The Apple Watch Series 8 is said to have a larger display than its predecessors, which is expected to be 1.99 inches. The device may also include a body temperature sensor that can warn you whether or not you have a fever. This could then be used by your doctor or a dedicated thermometer.
Ross Young, the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), has shared a tweetteasing that the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 might come in new sizes, including a larger display than its predecessors, such as the Apple Watch Series 7. This larger size could be 1.99-inch, indicating that the upcoming model may come in 45mm sizes.
A recent paper claims that the Apple Watch Series 8 will have a body temperature sensor that is capable of advising users whether or not they have fever. The wearable would rather give users a specific reading like a forehead or wrist thermometer.
As mentioned above, the wearable is also expected to receive the S8 chip.
Apple is planning to introduce three variations of the Apple Watch Series 8: a low-end SE, a standard Series 8, and an extreme sports edition.
