Ultron Returns in Live-Action for the First Time Since Avengers 2 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ...

The titular synthezoid appeared once more in What If...? as a galaxy-shattering villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now he is returning in live-action to fight a new generation of Avengers.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be able to experience an all-new cinematic dining experience aboard the Disney Wish cruise line, alongside Iman Velani's Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. The Avengers have gathered to face an adversary, and footage from the attraction gives an overview of Ultron's return to live-action.

Ultron Wants to Have Quantum Power Aboard a Disney Wish

Ultron's attack on the cruise ship and his subsequent battle with the Avengers were shared by the Marvel Multiverse Youtube channel. He's not the only one; the metallic menace has brought with him an entire legion of his finest bots to crush the Avengers.

Ultron: "So this is where they keep the children..."

Ant-Man: "That's a weird opening sentence. Think fast!"

Ultron emerges from the shadows to discover Ant-Man working on the Quantum Regulator. When Scott attempts a quick strike, it turns out to be a bit less than effective.

Ultron: "Seriously?"

"Yea...That didn't do anything," says Ant-Man.

Scott is quite easily moved out of the way as he approaches the Regulator, moving one step closer to fulfilling his goals in this new story.

Ultron: "Oh, get out of my way!

Ultron absorbs the authority of the Regulator and becomes an even more dangerous adversary as Ant-Man is out of the way.

"Let's say Ultron absorbed the Regulator. Could I use the quantum cores to target him?"

Ultron chases the halls, looking for Scott. Thinking on his feet, the smallest Avenger devises a strategy to turn the tables on the synthezoid.

The whole video may be seen here. Ultron starts his appearance at the 3:23 mark.

Could Ultron's Return Herald More Classic Villains?

Although Ultron's appearance in the video is brief, it's very clear that he plays an important role in the attraction. The way the Avengers manage to prevent him is up to the fans of the Disney Wish to determine.

Ultron's appearance here is particularly remarkable because he is a villain the Avengers have definitively defeated. While some remain on the large, Ultron is done and dusted as of bothAge of UltronandWhat If...?

Avengers: Quantum Encounter might end up being the harbinger of a hall of fame tour for fan favorite villains, opening the way for guests at Disney Parks and aboard cruises to experience battles with Loki, Thanos, Red Skull, Baron Zeemo, and others.

Although Ultron has beaten, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has still plenty of dangers for its heroes. The next project isThor: Love and Thunder, which will premiere on July 8 only in theaters.
