Emergent Games has released an ARG prologue for the web3 MMO Resurgence ...

The End, an ARG title, has been released by Emergent Games as the first chapter of a multi-part effort leading up to the release of its web3 triple-A MMO, Resurgence.

The End, according to Emergent, is a puzzle game that hides ciphers in the real world. Players pool their skills in the Resurgence Discord server. Future chapters will follow the story of the unfolding climate-based apocalypse, culminating in Resurgence, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic world.

The End is a game that focuses on the first phase of the game's world-building phase, introducing the setting, key characters, and politics that make the game a captivating experience, according to Emergent CCO Russ Harding in an interview.

A limited number of those NFTs will be offered to players of The End, allowing players to create and construct things that are entirely theirs, while also using the game's tools and mechanics, such as crafting and other in-game capabilities.

MetaBeat 2022 will be released in 2022.

On October 3-4, MetaBeat will bring together metaverse thought leaders to discuss how metaverse technology will transform the way all industries communicate and do business.

Resurgence has a place for those who aren't interested in NFTs, according to Harding: Firstly, the key thing is that as a player you will be able to enjoy Resurgence without ever having to purchase or create any NFT. The important thing is that the player will make the decision and it will never be forced upon them.

Emergent will release Revelation, a hacker sim, followed by Priority One, a first-person survival horror game sometime in 2023. Later in 2024, itll release The Thaw, a multiplayer survival game that transitions into Resurgence proper, with the first MMO content named The Infernal Frontier.
