Scientists Have Listed The Planets Where Humanity Will Find Refuge In The Future
The main researcher of the NASA New Horizons mission, Dr. Alan Stern, said that the planets of the Solar System that people will inhabit in the future have already been identified. We are talking about the need to relocate to them in case of any large-scale disaster.
The scientist said that if a global cataclysm occurs, which will be caused by a change in the activity of the Sun, it will be necessary to make a decision on the relocation of people. The solar system, according to scientists, will live for another five billion years. Then the Sun will begin to turn into a red giant and devour the nearest planets.
This process, as Stern notes, will also threaten the Earth, but humanity can escape from a cosmic catastrophe. The increase in the Sun will create favorable conditions for life on other planets. When the Sun turns into a red giant, Pluto will warm up to a comfortable temperature for living people. The scientist explained that the migration of mankind is possible on remote dwarf planets located in the Kuiper belt, which is located behind Neptune. There are a lot of icy space rocks; they can become sources of water, as well as complex economic materials. This region of the Solar System near Neptune can become a conditional "Miami Beach," and thus, the human race will continue.
