Fans ofMystery Science Theater 3000 are beyond enthralling the newest episode of the show. The film-spoofing series has long had a rotating cast, with different actors and comedians dressing as the marooned astronaut and his robot buddies. For the first time in over 30 years, Joel Hodgson will reprise the series'' creator and original host.
Joel Robinson, who plays an ex-janitor and inventor for Gizmonic Industries, was kidnapped by a couple of wicked scientists in the series'' first episodes to examine his natural reaction to low-budget content. While to some it may seem like a weird format for a television program, it''s no different from what many people do while sitting in their living room.
The only disadvantage is that actors follow out their own plot away from the movie in "host-segments" where the in-show universe is explored. Hodgson was the producer of the series, which was initially aired on a local channel in Minnesota. The show eventually expanded to Comedy Central, which later became Comedy Central. It was then then moved to Sci-Fi. This current season was funded by supporters through Kickstarter.
Hodgson has kept an active part of the production of the show since it was released on Netflix. However, it has been a very long time since he even hosted an episode. This will come to an end.
