Jaylon Ferguson, a linebacker for the Ravens, died at the age of 26 at his Baltimore residence.
TheBaltimore Police Department responded to aBaltimore address in the northern city of New York on Tuesday (June 21) and found Ferguson unresponsive with the help of medics. Even at the same time, Ferguson was never released but was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the authorities.

According to ESPN, Ferguson was a third-round draft pick by the Ravens in 2019, and had continued to participate in all of the offseason training sessions in 2022. According to reports, he worked extremely hard to lose a significant amount of weight during training, and was in excellent shape of his career. In his three NFL seasons, he totaled 67 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
Ferguson spent most of his time on the draft, reportedly helping his hometown of Ruston, Louisiana recover from the tragedy. He reportedly assisted search for people and helped remove uprooted trees from the roadway. If that was not enough, he also provided food and water to people in need.
A Fergusons agent shared a loving message describing him as a wonderful young man full of love and life. She added that he will not only be a football player, but as a great father, son, brother, and friend.
Ferguson leaves behind three children, one daughter and a youngster, who are all under the age of 5.
