In a civil lawsuit, Bill Cosby was not concerned about a $500K verdict ...

Bill Cosby was recently dismissed from a civil lawsuit where he was accused of assaulting an underage girl in 1975. At the time, the victim was sixteen years old. A judge ordered Cosby to pay $500,000 in damages. The comedy legend isn''t sweating it.

TMZ spoke with Bill Cosbys'' representative Andrew Wyatt. He said the 84-year-old was just fine with the judgment. In fact, he lauded the verdict.

What''s all about it? Booyah!

Bill Cosby spoke with two jurors who sided with him after the trial. He commended them for their support. Cosby said it was a social justice matter.

If Cosby had been found liable for punitive damages, he might have had to pay a sum in the millions of dollars. $500,000 is relatively reasonable compared to that. He will pay happily if his appeal fails.

The appeal will be pending soon. The victim will have to wait for the execution to take place in court before she can take the money. It might take a while to settle the matter.
