In the next film Dune: Part 2, Lea Seydoux is believed to be all set to step into the shoes of Lady Margot, a significant character.

Part Two will play an important role in Dune: Paul Atreides, the partner of Timothee Chalamets.

Lady Margot, as per Dune''s written by author Frank Herbert, has an important part in the story, particularly when she warns Paul''s mother Lady Jessica, played by Rebecca Ferguson, about supposedly trahison.

Lady Margot is a vital friend to Paul Atreides in his battle with the Harkonnens in Herbert''s novel.

Seydoux is well-known for her appearances in several James Bond films, like No Time to Dieand Specter.

She is known for Blue Is The Warmest Colour, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Midnight In Paris.

Seydoux was recently featured in the David Cronenbergs sci-fi film Crimes of the Future, which also featured Kristen Stewart and Viggo Mortensen.

In the second film, the French actress joins Florence PughAustin Butler and Christopher Walken, who have been working for years.

Pugh and Butler will play Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV in the roles of Princess Irulanthe Emperors daughter, and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, the presumptive heir to the Harkonnen dynasty.

Count Fenring, who is Lady Margots husband, has yet to be cast.

Chalamet, along with his co-stars Zendaya, Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgard, and Dave Bautista, are returning for the Dune sequel.

Villeneuve will start shooting on Dune''s sequel in the latter half of the year, under the guidance of the director of Arrival.

Part One, which was written on screen in October 2021, netted a total of $400.6 million at the box office worldwide. Dune was nominated for the 10 Academy Awards and received six awards for visual effects, sound, original score, design, and cinematography.

Paul Atreides (Chalamet), a gifted and brilliant young man who developed a special destiny beyond his understanding, must travel to Arrakis, the world''s most dangerous planet, to ensure his family and his country''s future.

Part Two will be reinstated where Part One left off, with Atreides fighting alongside the Fremen to free Arrakis from the grips of House of Harkonnen.

Jon Spaihts will direct and produce the sequel to the script with Villeneuve.

On the film, Cale Boyter, Mary Parent, Tanya Lapointe, and Cale Boyter are both executive producers, while Josh Grode, Herbert W. Gains, David Valdes, and Kim Herbert are all executive producers.

The release date for Dune: Part Two has been set for October 20, 2023.
