Lina is taken to an unknown country, which is far too messy and unsettling for her methodical and nerdy nature, but having to confront her fears and confront her mother''s past secrets, she slowly begins to change.

Where was Love and Gelato filmed?

Fans of ecstatic will rejoice that Love and Gelato was shot in several locations throughout Italy.

The primary filming location for the film was the Tuscany (Toscana) area in the north of Italy, and most specifically the city of Florence, known as Firenze.

During the summer of 2021, filming on the project began, with cast members posting photos of their trip to Italy throughout June and July.

When the shooting started, Florence seemed to be the main filming location for production, with the Toscana Film Commission sharing several behind-the-scenes photographs.

The Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Santa Croce,The Boboli Gardens, Piazza San Pier Maggiore, Santa Maria del Fiore, Borgo Santi Apostoli, the Porte Sante Cemetery, and the Piazzale Michelangelo are some of the sites that were used in Florence.

The cast of Love and Gelatos also visited Rome, where the film focuses on the historic city of Florence, and Susanna Skagg, who is making his first films.
