On Mustafar, the Obi-Wan Kenobi finale poster teases Darth Vader's rematch ...

Fans are anticipating that the earlier promised rematch between Ewan McGregor''sstitular Jedi and Darth Vader will be successful. During the first five episodes, Obi-Wan explored the Empire''s dominance and the relationship with Princess Leia Organa, and signs indicate that it will all lead to another disastrous encounter between their former friends.

Obi-Wan and Vader ended their first encounter following Order 66. However, Obi-Wan was evidently not like his usual self, thus Vader was able to punch him.

Many believed the duel during that episode was not the battle Lucasfilm promised, especially after president Kathleen Kennedy''s claimed that it would be the "rematch of the century."

A fresh social media post may suggest that another confrontation between Obi-Wan and Vader will come to an end.

Obi-Wan vs. Darth Vader Rematch

Hotstar and Disney have shared a new story to promote Obi-Wan Kenobi''s highly anticipated finale, presenting the much-talked-about "proper" rematch between the titular Jedi Master and Darth Vader.

Former friends see engaging in a duel in Mustafar, the same setting in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith on the poster.

In Revenge of the Sith, the pair had an emotional battle in Mustafar, with Obi-Wan coming out on top:

In November 2021, an official sizzle reel for Obi-Wan Kenobi exhibited concept art promoting the rematch between Obi-Wan and Vader. In a familiar fiery scene, the two former friends are presumably Mustafar.

The Direct readerJurre Kroezenotedthe poster is actually an animated film directed by Render Driver. However, an official Disney+ Hotstar page has shown the image to promote the finale.

Will Obi-Wan Pursue Darth Vader on Mustafar?

Although this is fan art and comes from an international Disney+ account, this latest promotion might confirm that the highly-teased rematch between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vaderwill finally take place during the finale. In the previous episodes, the titular Jedi Master demonstrated his past self, making him prepare for another duel with the Sith Lord.

It remains to be seen why Obi-Wan ends up on Mustafar with a previous concept art from the show''s official sizzle reel, considering that the penultimate episode showed him on a fabled journey with Leia.

While the first minutes of the finale will show Obi-Wan carrying out his promise to save Organa by returning Leia home, the episode may revolve around another rescue mission. This time around, the main focus will now be on a young Luke Skywalker.

Ingram''s Reva might''ve kidnapped Luke in Tatooine in order to seek revenge against Darth Vader. As a result, the Inquisitor might travel directly to Mustafar and bring Luke there, emphasizing Obi-Wan to go to the fiery planet to save the future Jedi.Reva and Obi-Wan could go into conflict first, with Vader''s winner winning a rematch.

In any case, it''s safe to assume that the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi finale will involve tons of lightsaber conflicts.

The finale of Obi-Wan Kenobi will be available on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 22.
