Big: Alex Iwobi replies to footage of a 23-year-old securing an Arsenal deal ...

Eddie Nketiah has signed a new contract at Arsenal, and the Hale-End star has posted pictures on his Instagram of the special day.

The 23-year-old posted a 42-second video in which he is greeting the club technical director, Edu, signing the contract with his family beside him, and then being presented with the club''s famous 14 shirt.

Everton winger, Iwobi, who took on the same Hale-End academy as Nketiah, simply responded in the comments section with the words big, big, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles posted, Yeah, big dawg, come sit next to me.

Danny Crowley, the former Arsenal academy employee, posted his reaction by commenting: "Good job!"

Alongside fixing his long-term future in north London, Nketiah was given the number 14 shirt, worn by Thierry Henry, the clubs greatest ever striker.

Though that has a broader view, Ian Wright has come out and defended the striker after an Arsenal fan claimed that he doesn''t deserve to wear that number.

Jamie OHara, a former Tottenham midfielder, believes it''s great news for Spurs that Nketiah has extended his time at the club and believes he shouldnt have been given the number 14 shirt.

Come next season, the pressure will be strong on Nketiahs shoulders, because if he struggles, then that number on his back will be praised.

What a time for him to respond to critics and demonstrate to the Premier League that he can score the goals he desperately wants.
