Following a cash injection from a gaming industry-focused venture capital company and other investors, the pioneering social media sports marketing business has reached $3.25 million in financing.

Sports Gambling Guides, an elite social media advertising company that was recently selected for Sports Affiliate of the Year at the 2022 SBC Awards, has announced that it has received an additional $2 million in second round funding from investors including Astralis Capital.

SGG, which began in 2020, now has 17 entrepreneurs with a young but broad range of backgrounds. The company, which specializes in social media, now has a combined network of 800+ Twitter and Instagram content creators / influencers.

Astralis Capital, meanwhile, is a venture capital firm based on the Astralis Fund I LP, an iGaming, Sports Betting, and Digital Gaming investment subsidiary, managed by Tisno Onggara and Evan Meya. The groups have always focused on supporting innovative management teams at compelling early-stage businesses, while providing the necessary advice and industry connectivity to increase stakeholder value.

Given the profile and trajectory of SGG, it''s not difficult to see why they were chosen by Astralis and others to receive additional funding. In the past two years, the company has established itself as one of the three largest US sports gambling accounts on Instagram and one of the top 10 on Twitter.

SGG has constantly expanded its client database to include big-name sports betting brands like FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, PointsBet, and others, as well as a leading Daily Fantasy Sports operator, PrizePicks.

SGG is currently open to all legal online betting states in the United States and is looking to expand into more as and when new jurisdictions begin. In addition to its disruptive approach to conventional affiliate marketing, the company has been commended for its cost-effectiveness and the value it has provided to partners.

Troy Paul, the co-founder and CEO of Sports Gambling Guides, said: "We are pleased to have been selected for funding by Astralis Capital and many other additional investors." The fact that all of these organizations have made the decision to finance our business is a sign of our great progress so far and that we continue to develop.

Over the next months, we intend to repay the trust investors have shown in us by expanding our client database and providing engaging social media content that engages an even greater audience. We are looking forward to running exciting campaigns that bring even greater value to our partners.

SGG has established a strong presence in the affiliate and advertising space with their expanding product footprint, influencer and follower bases. We believe SGG can be a partner of choice for a wide spectrum of advertisers to reach passionate and loyal sports and gambling enthusiasts.
