Rory Wilson has publicly confirmed on Instagram that he has left Rangers ahead of his move to Aston Villa, the Scottish Premiership side.
The 16-year-old added that he has spent an exceptional eight years at Rangers, according to Fabrizio Romano last week. He said that personal terms had already been agreed with Wilson and Villa ahead of his move.
The departed striker was also posting messages of him in a Villa shirt, which he wore with, with messages of good luck from his friends and teammates.
With a recent social media post, the well-known and accomplished teenager has shared that he is heading for the exit gate at Ibrox.
ANOTHER GEM ADDED TO VILLAS ACADEMY
Villa have evolved from Jack Grealish to current star Jacob Ramsey, who are producing some of their academy''s top-class players, with additional impressive names coming through the doors.
Wilson will only add to that, and he will make an impression when he joins Villa for the pre-season next month.
There is still a long way to go about his development, and it will be interesting to see how he will be used next season under Steven Gerrard.
Will he train with the first team? Play for the under-21s or possibly go out on loan, though, it''s best he stays on board at Villa Park for now.
