According to ESPN, Don Hutchison has stated that Yves Bissouma is a fantastic signing for Tottenham following his 25 million return from Brighton.
The TV pundit said that enough managers have watched him progress over the years, and Spurs have a player who is in an extremely high age.
The 25-year-old had a one-year left on his contract at Brighton, with Fabio Paratici working his magic and paying 25 million for his talents.
Given that Ben White, who had only played one full season in the Premier League, was moved for 50 million from Brighton to Arsenal, it goes to show what type of deal Paratici has gotten over the line.
In either case, Hutchison said this to US television about Antonio Contes'' side adding a new high-end in Bissouma ahead of next season.
I think enough managers have seen him progress over the years, according to Hutchison. It''s a great age at 25. He''s an excellent ability. He''s excellent posture, and he''s capable of putting himself in the hayward seat.
So, for the price, it''s a fantastic signing for Spurs.
Is BISSOUMA DIFFERENTLY PROFESSIONAL TO FLAT FROM THE GETGO?
Bissouma will be competing with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur next season for their first-team spots in Contes XI.
Whilst Bentancur looked the most impressive last season, at the end of the day, Hojbjerg is still the most well-known performer in the Premier League.
With Bissouma now in the building, he might argue that he pushes ahead of both players next season and straight into Contes XI.
Spurs now have a shaky defensive-midfield advantage, thanks to Oliver Skipp''s ability to be a key member of the team.
