According to 90min, Mikel Artetas Arsenal and Jesse Marschs Leeds United are on the verge of losing out on FC Porto midfielder Vitinha to Paris Saint-Germain.
90min has reported that Arsenal, Manchester United, West Ham United, Leeds, Everton, and Newcastle United all want to sign Vitinha from Porto during the summer transfer window.
According to the report, PSG will challenge all of them and sign the 22-year-old Portuguese international after triggering the 40 million (34.34 million) release clause in his contract.
Fabrizio Romano, a well-known and respected journalist, has posted on Twitter that Vitinha will now compete in PSG, who won the Ligue 1 title.
Arsenal and Leeds target Vitinha to join PSG
To complete the Vitinha deal with FC Porto, Paris Saint-Germain have already prepared for medical tests and paperwork. Deal wanted by Luis Campos, his first signing will be Portuguese. #PSG One English club was interested in Vitinha but was told it was not Man United.
During his loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers from FC Porto, Vitinha struggled to get a hand in 2020-21.
That season, the 22-year-old played five starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves.
Vitinha made 27 starts and three substitute appearances in the Portuguese league during the 2021-22 season, scoring two goals and three assists.
Last season, the Portuguese youngster made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Europa League.
