Motorola Edge Smartphone Got The Appearance Of A Flagship, But A Much More Affordable Price
Following the flagship smartphone Motorola Edge+, the American company introduced its younger brother without the "+" prefix. In contrast to the usual use of the "+" sign to indicate the increased diagonal of the display, in this case, only the overall dimensions and the front part, which includes the display, the front camera, and a built-in fingerprint scanner, are common for Edge and Edge+.
The new product is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels. The 25-megapixel front-facing camera is hidden in the hole in the upper-left corner. Processor-Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. There are 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory. The battery has become less capacious - 4500 mAh.
Of course, the main camera has also been simplified. Three of the four sensors remain the same: a 16-megapixel with wide-angle optics, an 8-megapixel with a telephoto lens, and a depth sensor, but this is not without simplification - the optical zoom is now two-and not three-fold. But the main 108-megapixel sensor was replaced with a simpler 64-megapixel sensor.
But the price has significantly decreased. Motorola Edge will go on sale in early May for $650.
