McGregor is joined by Vivien Lyra Blair, who plays Reva, the Third Sister Inquisitor, and Hayden Christensen, who is reprising his role as Darth Vader
Master Kenobi isn''t the only Jedi who has appeared on-screen or was on-screen.
Benny Safdie''s Nari was featured in Part III, where no other Jedi was made an actual appearance, but Quinlan Vos was mentioned and the Path was introduced, a network of secret tunnels that on-the-run Jedi have access to in the event they need a quick escape from the Empire.
Many fans speculated that a number of familiar characters would make surprise appearances. In Part IV, there was a glimpse of a well-known character from the prequel trilogy.
Mace Windu''''s Return in Obi-Wan Kenobi?
Part IVofObi-Wan Kenobi is covered in this article.
In Episode 4 ofObi-Wan Kenobi, the Jedi Master travels to Fortress Inquisitorius to rescue Leia from the hands of the Third Sister. Indira Varma''s Tala gets aided by the Jedi Master, who has given her a boost to overturn the security of the stronghold thanks to her reputation as an Imperial Officer.
Obi-Wan enters a massive hallway of horrors in an entry point below the surface of the water. After he enters a stormtrooperand and finds Leia, he discovers him as he enters the room. This hallway depicts what happens to them after being captured and tortured by the Inquisitors.
The Jedi Master walks through the room and sees the faces of former members of his Order frozen in time. However, after returning to his senses and diverting his focus back to Leia, he runs out of the hallway and departs for the interrogation room.
Why Is The Jedi in Obi-Wan Kenobi?Mace Windu is a Jedi in Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Mace Windu is not the subject of the Fortress Inquisitorius'' fate, as long as it was given out a window by Darth Sidious. Force users in Star Wars have survived much worse, such as Darth Maul. However, there are two things that this is most likely a random Jedi and not one of the former leading members of the Jedi Council.
When an image of the Master Windu lookalike is zoomed in, he clearly has his right hand. When Mace and three other members of the Order came to the arrest of Chancellor Palpatine, Anakin cut off his right hand. It may be argued that Mace had found a medical bay and had it replaced with a mechanical one, however, it is quite unlikely to see how badly he might have been in the Force lightning and the fall.
Fans must also remember that when Mace was dismissed from the window, the Jedi began to be hunted by the clones, so if he had gone to any medical facility or returned to the Jedi Temple, he would have been murdered.
Even if Windu had his hand replaced in an underworld parlor on Coruscant, Obi-Wan would not have run right past him. Those two characters had an extensive history and a lot of respect for one another during the Clone Wars. In the event, Obi-Wan would have been able to feel it through the Force, and he would certainly have stopped mourning his fallen Council member.
It is also important to mention that Disney and Lucasfilm would not bring Mace Windu back for a background Easter egg shot. Samuel L. Jackson has stated that he would be interested in returning to Star Wars, and because he is one of the world''s most famous actors, his desire will always be granted, and he will be used in a much larger role.
When it comes to Star Wars, viewers are always looking for Easter eggs or familiarities. Due to Mace Windu''s abrupt fate inRevenge of the Sith, fans have always been interested in seeing more of him, and have always claimed that he did not meet his end in that scene. Maybe these wishes will be granted sometime in the near future.
