Escape From Tarkov continues to evolve, but every big patch usually requires a server wipe.
And Battlestate Games has confirmed that its next release will require that an EFT wipe be removed, resetting game progress as previously.
The following information was released earlier this week as part of a code giveaway for Escape From Tarkov, which allows fans to begin preparing for the next major game event.
The next patch from Tarkov will be released.
BattleState Games has confirmed that its next major upgrade will include the next Escape From Tarkov Server wipe. This will also state that all progress will be eliminated, and gamers will have to start from the start. Most gamers will be reduced to the starter packs they had shipped with the version they purchased, along with a complete economy rewrite.
The main piece of information is still missing during Twitch''s livestream, with BattleState confirming that the patch is nearly ready, but it is still waiting for release. This means that gamers should expect at least a few weeks of waiting unless the EFT pre-wipe events begin.

This will be the first sign that the Escape From Tarkov wipe will be on display on PC. It will be interesting to see how the new Escape From Tarkov patch and wipe fits in with the next spin-off project for the franchise. EFT Arena will be a standalone game game with all of the known and hardcore game mechanics of Escape from Tarkov. BattleState will add:
The Arena will be available for free as DLC for all EFT versions, but you may also get the Arena separately without purchasing the main game. EFT Arena closed testing is expected to begin in autumn 2022.
The game will include several PvP and PvE game modes, ratings, weapon and gear unlocking, as well as unique features for the owners of the main Escape from Tarkov game, such as the ability to play as your main profile character.
The Alpha testing schedule suggests that we will be entering the most recent phase of the regular Escape From Tarkov game that is now available on PC.
