Following his breif appearance in the latest episode, Obi Wan Kenobi''s 4 character Wade has won over fans.

While the role of Wades on the television was relatively limited, it had certainly shaped the audience.

Some have even gone as far as implying that the character should have his own spin-off.

Wades limited screen time was enough to enthuse fans'' hearts.

In the fourth episode, fans were introduced to Wade Resselian as a member of the Path organisation.

In the premiere, Wade and his fellow Path member Sully take to the sky in a T-47 airspeeder on a mission to rescue Obi-Wan, Leia, and Tala.

Following an explosion in his aircraft''s cockpit, Wade does not undertake the task.

While some viewers may be dissatisfied with the characters'' disappearance, Wades'' passing appears to have splintered with others as they remember him on social media:

Obi-Wan Kenobi fans call for a Wade spin off

Following Wades'' latest feature, the character appears to have won over others, as some have even called for the character to get a dedicated project.

One Twitter user shared his desire for the character to get its own sequel as they dubbed Wade their favourite character:

I hope that the filmmaker in Obi wan will get a sequel. RIP. He was the best part of this series.

Meet the actor behind Obi-Wan Kenobis Wade

Ryder McLaughlin, a 24-year-old actor, portrays the character.

McLaughlin made his acting debut in 2016 but has since won a number of awards.

Having started out in short films, he then appeared in the Jonah Hill drama-comedy Mid90s. That same year he also appeared in several episodes of HBO series Ballers.

McLaughlin starred in Dog, a Channing Tatum film, before winning over Star Wars fans in the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
