Jio-Bp''s fuel retailing partnership between Reliance Industries and Supermajor Bp will establish electric vehicle charging and battery swapping stations at Omaxe''s properties in 12 cities as it seeks to bring mobility solutions to the doorstep of users.
Omaxe will be a partner in establishing a battery charging ecosystem for electric automobiles, according to media reports.
,Jio-Bp plans to conduct EV charging and switching infrastructure at various Omaxe offices in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, New Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Patiala, Amritsar, Jaipur, Sonipat, and Bahadurgarh in a phased manner, according to reports.
As the penetration of electric vehicles powered by electric electricity that generate energy from rechargeable batteries increases, Jio-Bp believes that charging infrastructure should be established at commercial facilities. It is working with developers and real estate organizations in the country.
According to a statement, Jio-Bp will construct a 247 EV charging facility for two and four wheelers.
