A Cloud Of Plasma Ejected By The Sun Covered The Earth

The plasma cloud that ejected the Sun on the evening of December 7 reached the Earth, according to the laboratory of x-ray astronomy of the Sun of the Physical Institute of the Academy of Sciences (SFIA).
"The contact of our planet with dense masses of solar gas was registered around 4 am Moscow time," the Institute notes.
The Earth will be submerged in the solar matter for about a day, Russian scientists predict.
As the laboratory reported earlier, the impact of the plasma cloud will be a sharp increase in the radiation load on space vehicles. Besides, it will affect the fluctuations of the magnetic field near the surface of our planet.
