The Arcane collaboration with the Rift BTS docu-series will be released on August 7 ...

In August 2022, Arcane will get a new behind-the-scenes documentary miniseries that explains the production decisions made during the production process.

Arcane is certainly one of Netflix''s most popular animated series.

Following Netflix''s introduction in 2021, the League of Legends TV adaptation has ruled the internet for three weeks now, and since then, fans have been patiently waiting for additional information about where the franchise is heading.

Season 2 would be unveiled during Netflix''s Geeked Week Animation feature; however, a brand-new documentary series was instead teased as Arcane: Bridging the Rift.

What is Arcane: Bridging the Rift?

As part of Day Three of Netflix''s Geeked Week, the focus was on animation, and it''s safe to say that the majority of the YouTube chat was only there for the Arcane franchise. Arcane: Bridging the Rift was revealed, a upcoming documentary series that will detail the development and execution of the 2021 hit series.

While no further details on the second season were disclosed, the streaming giant released a short video of the Bridging the Rift documentary miniseries with the caption Arcane co-creator Christian Linke discussing the series''s inception and the partnership with Fortiche, which brought the show to life.

Linke opens the clip by stating "We were kind of talking like a guy how savage it would be to make something that was a bit bigger in the animation space and the story space." And to take a look at all of the different strengths that the company has.

We had an incredible, amazing partner in Fortiche, an animation studio in Paris. We had worked with them on the Jinx music video, on the Imagine Dragons video for Warriors. They just always had this fantastic X factor of these beautiful visuals, super artistic, and everything just kind of clicked. Christian Linke, via YouTube.

The release of Arcane: Bridging the Rift has been confirmed, as well as the channel.

As a result of the recent reveal, Acane: Bridging the Rift will be available worldwide on August 4th and 2022.

The series will not be available on Netflix, but rather will be broadcast exclusively on the Riot Games YouTube channel.

The docu-series will feature five individual episodes, with each episode dropping weekly on YouTube:

Over the next few months, additional details on the theme of each episode will be expected.

Any updates on Arcane season 2?

Sadly, there is still no word on Arcane Season 2, with many fans expecting a certain type of teaser or hint to be dropped during the recent Geeked Week event.

Although there is still hope for further information on Friday, which focuses on Games, Arcane only appeared on Wednesday''s promotional material, but fans should not expect a surprise feature on the last livestream of Geeked Week.

The second season of Arcane Show has been confirmed in November 2021, with the Arcane Show Twitter page sharing Ready yourselves, friends. Season 2 of Arcane is now in production. Where is a Hexgate when you need one?

Laurent Nicolo of Riot Games will then imply that the team was already working on the second season, but that fans would be left awaiting for at least the remainder of the year.

We are working on season 2 of #arcane, and the good news is that you will not have to wait for 6 years (the time it took us to finish season 1), but the bad news is that it will not happen in 2022, Laurent Nicolo, via Twitter.
