Arsenal might finalize signing a different Brazilian, according to a journalist ...

Graeme Bailey discusses Arsenal and their interest in Gabriel Jesus on the Talking Transfers podcast.

Manchester City striker has been very close to Arsenal for some time now, but Bailey isnt so sure about a deal, declaring that Pep Guardiola would really like to keep the striker.

According to Bailey, there is a possibility that Jesus would join the Gunners, but Arsenal supporters should keep an eye on Richarlisons'' situation, as he suggests a move for the Everton forward might be more likely than a move for Jesus.

Whats been said?

Bailey talked about Richarlison and Jesus.

I believe there are still some legs in this one. Arsenal are trying, there is a chance, but Id keep an eye on other players, such as Richarlison, a player we know Arsenal for a long time, and his friends are close to Edu, so I think hes a player who will come up again, and may end up being more likely than Jesus, but the next big thing for Jesus is his decision on this new Man City contract.

Not a bad alternative

If Arsenal do not sign Gabriel Jesus this summer, then Richarlison is certainly not a bad choice.

Everton striker is ranked at the Premier League, and he would be a fantastic option for Arsenal as their new number nine.

Everton''s performance will not be smooth. After all, Richarlison is the Toffees'' key player, but the Merseyside side may well be looking for a new way out of Goodison Park.

This is certainly a situation that should be kept an eye on.
