In their bid to sign Ibrahim Sangare, Liverpool faces a moderate competition in the form of Manchester United and Chelsea.

In May, Dutch outlet VI reported that Liverpool had the PSV Eindhoven midfielder on their hands.

Manchester United and Chelsea are yet to agree on the 24-year-old Ivory Coast international, according to Sky Sports.

Sky claims that Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils'' head, knows the player well due to his career in the Eredivisie, while Thomas Tuchel wants a long-term replacement for NGolo Kante following an injury-hit campaign last time around.

You might argue for all three Premier League clubs that need him.

And although Liverpool is likely to have him the least, due to Fabinho, Jurgen Klopp is a former coach who will be desperate to sign it nonetheless.

For two reasons,

Firstly, Aurelien Tchouameni is looking for a certainty, resulting in one midfielder in the Fabinho form, whom the German manager is unlikely to miss out on.

Sangare, who has a release clause of 30 million, destroyed the Liverpool powerhouse last term in a number of key areas.

Sky Sports included a graphic of Sangares Eredivisie stats in their work, illustrating that the powerhouse made a total of 95 tackles throughout the 2021-22 campaign, along with 74 interceptions.

On the other hand, Fabinho managed only 46 tackles and 40 interceptions [Premier League website].

The Eredivisie is distinct from the Premier League, but rather rather intense.

Sangare, as you might argue, is more effective than Fabinho, but the statistics are quite interesting, and you can see why Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea are apparently keen.
