Alongside the new Lock Screen, iOS 16 has a new Messages app that has the capability to edit or even delete a sent message. However, as of now, Apple has added a Messages app that allows users to share photos with their relatives seamlessly. However, it is impossible to say if this new addition will receive much attention, given that it may be confusing for many to know how to best use it.
The iOS 16 release will include a visual lookup feature that allows users to tap and hold the subject in an image to remove it from the background, as well as in apps such as Messages. Apple said that this feature would allow users to recognize birds, insects, and statues, however. This feature would be limited to iOS devices that use A12 Bionic and later.
Apple presented macOS Ventura as its next software release for Mac devices, and the new operating system includes a Stage Manager, which is designed to increase multitasking by giving users the ability to switch between apps and windows via a new side panel.
The new macOS release also comes with a Continuity Camera that allows MacBook users to use an iPhone as the webcam. And with Desk View, you may use the ultra-wide camera on the iPhone to show not just what''s in the front of the MacBook (aka you), but also its bottom (aka the keyboard).
Exact details on how the Continuity Camera will be available are yet to be revealed. Apple has also not confirmed whether the feature will be limited to the iPhone''s rear camera or can also work with its selfie camera.
Apple also introduced the M2 chip, which is coming first on the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Although the new chip has been developed as a successor to the M1 processor, it is not a replacement to the M1 Pro or M1 Ultra, although some customers may be confused between the two as these have been unveiled a few months apart.
The M2-based MacBook Air (2022) is a much larger model than its M1 counterpart that was introduced in 2020. The new model starts at Rs. 1,19,900, while the existing MacBook Air is priced at Rs.92,900.
Apple also included watchOS 9, as well as new workout features, including Sleep Stages, and the Medications app. iPadOS 16 has also been announced as its new iPad operating system, which also includes Stage Manager on iPad Pro models to enhance multitasking and maintain them working in line with MacBooks.
